I'm thinking about panic buying a tent for a Mountain Marathon next week and have just been shown a Salewa Khamsin II.

It looks great but I can't find any reviews so wondered if anyone could advise me if their stuff is any good.

I've looked at all the other options but this one is only £90 and it's the only one that my partner can lie down in without his head and feet touching the sides.

Any comment would be very much appreciated.

Ta v much x x

We have a salewa tent - it's fine except for the brow pole that only Bob can fit...

otherwise all OK. It's a 'Bergen' one.

I also have a Salewa tent though I haven't used it in ages.
I think its called a Sarec or something.
Good design and quality materials.

Oh lol....I thought he meant that you smack your eyebrow on it while you're getting in :D

I think I'll get the Salewa then unless anyone has any negatives to say about them.

erm... I'll have you know JJ that my pitching instructions refers to it as an 'eyebrow' pole.

so there.

what else could 'brow' be short for anyway?

Silly Glyn, your destructions are written by Germans who know nothing about the nuances of the English language.

Is the 'brow' of a hill short for its 'eyebrow'???

I shall mind my head on the (eye)brow pole.
