I have tried to post a number of photos in the gallery, but with no luck. It keeps telling me my file size is too big. Can anyone tell me how to make the file small enough to post?

You can usually do this in whatever photo software you use. Did you get software with your camera?

If you have Windows XP, there's a powertoy that enables you to do it quickly.

some re-sizing tools end up leaving quality of image a bit dodgy, i did a free download called irfanview, which is ok, there was quite a good article on ukclimbing.com that helped with it all http://www.ukclimbing.com/articles/page.php?id=96
