No smeg i have only one map for Wales so it had to be on that given i knew roughly what area you live around from forum chat and looked closely at the res and the rocks and the drop and really just put 2+2 together(guessed)...

have walked very close or past that res but only ever looked down on it and not in great detail i must say some four years ago,but was very close a couple of weeks ago but not within a mile or so..

so really i just guessed!!

 Here is another one for Jonno or Diddy, it is my favorite little area at the moment partly due to the lack of people that venture through here, However I also found it an interesting area to explore and it contained a few little suprises. I am looking for the name of that nearest big lump of rock.

Is it Gladstone rock? Nr Watkin Path, I think thats LLiwedd in the background with its double peaks.

Ah, another look at the map, and I have come up with 'Craig Aderyn'? from there we can see Lliwedd, snowdon to the right, the ridge going east from lliwedd near left and the large rock on the right. With the flat area between.

In fact looking at gladstone rock now tha twas a stupid choice. For starters you said quit, that on the watkin pretty much, how daft of me!

Have misplaced me welsh wales snowdonia map, beggared if I can find it, if I do will be looking for a ring contour feature with a fence in close proximity.
