Wake up we want the answer - and we (OK I) accidentally moved the thread
you want the answer or a clue.
OL5
HC guessed - the Priest hole
I assume he meant below Dove Cragg.
We accidentally moved the thread for aminute there....
Oh well where you move it too?the answer that is lol i cant see it..
but yes it is the Priests hole..
well done HC? who is HC??
Ok my turn
I'm gonna go up to that flippin Priest hole at the end of the week - because I couldnt find it the last time I wandered up! - I like the little sparkly waterfall on the way though
worth a visit and make sure if you find it you sign the book in the old amunition ..
Btw thats a cracking shot ,did you take it and where is it?
Thanks Diddy,
As you take the path (from Brotherswater) there is a crag up to the top Left hand side - I assume it is in there?
And you havent had a guess?
When walking up the valley get to a large rock on its own and that is the point where you want to be looking around for a faint scramble path. see link...

yep thats the one just keep looking for a faint path!!
as for guessing i did try a bit of praise/trickery but you did not fall for it.
but it is a cracking shot..
is it in the peaks?if so i have never walked them as yet!
Snap
It all becomes clear thanks for the detail
My little lad (4 1/2) wants to go up his first mountain - In fact the first he went up was Great Gable in a child carrier and the second was Dove Crag on the same trip but of course he doesnt remember any of that. So I am going up there again and do the nice gentle loop around little Hart Crag with him - plenty of stops and a picnic etc. Would have done it this week but he is just getting over chickenpox.
Ok here is a real starter - and dont say I never give you anything....
It's on Dartmoor
Are you thinking of taking him upto the cave, because if so there is a bit of exsposure while scrambling up to it ,nothing for an adult but maybe a wee bit much for a 4yr old.
more a path than a scramble but thin and exposed in parts..
My lads four tomorrow and have just been playing on (testing of course) the electric motor bike we got him for his Bday..hope the pox clear soon and have a good walk with him when better..
I've found the page on Flickr that this image is on, via a bit of flip side thinking and google image search and now know where it is. and most people seem to photograph it from the otherside.
