My wife currently uses a Rab Ascent 700W, but found it a little cold when trekking in the High Andes. I have secured for her a Exped Down mat (thanks Paul) and am looking for an improved sleeping bag for her. I've looked at the Rab Andes 800W (I have the mens version a really rate it), however she will never do a walk where she has to carry her own bag so was wondering if the above bag would offer a similar level of warmth at a lot less cost? If anyone has any experience or alternative suggestions I'd be grateful to hear them.
