Good customer support

As I work in Sales I feel pretty well qualified to recognise good customer support when I see it, so want to praise Alpkit on here.

 I got in touch with them this morning as my Wee Airic sprung several microscopic leaks. As I've only used it four times I was loathe to junk it, but couldn't find the repair kit that came with it. They emailed straight back saying they'll send me a repair kit F.O.C.

OK it's not a big deal but they were entitled to make a charge and chose not to.

That makes Alpkit a good customer and one I'll return to in future.

Need to be

 although Alpkit stuff is good value, its not what you would call well made.

I've had Alpkit stuff for a number of years now and never had a problem with the quality.

I too have been impressed with Alpkits customer service. they were very helpful. Never had any problem with any of their stuff.

Alpkit make the best bouldering mats I've ever seen/used.  Good kit.

Every supplier will have their moments and bad apples in a good bunch.

It is how the supplier handles the situation where a customer has a genuine complaint and ready to tarnish the suppliers name, turning it around to a note of praise and satisfaction.

I will also add, that I've not had any problem with Alpkit stuff. but I do know their customer support and care, is superb, when I had a problem ordering online.

The problem was resolved quickly and professionally.  

However, wish I could say the same for Vango!
