I got one of the Kodak V610 twin lens 10x optical zoom last year, the type where the lens doesn't extend from the body, but moves inwards. It lasted about 10 months, then the shutter covering the lenses stopped working. Shortly after this, the zoom lens stopped being able to focus
It's a shame really as it was a great camera, the zoom was excellent, the image stabilistaion worked really well, and the panoramic image stitching was very good too.
I'd got an imported model, so it didn't have a warranty so we now only use it for the great close-ups it can do. If I had the money, I'd definately get another Kodak, though not this style (with the lenses going in instead of out) I think they've stopped making them now anyway.
