Tesco are selling off the last of their folding camp chairs for about £2 each for the armless ones.
They had some armchairs for £3.19 but they went in 5 minutes - expect to see them on Ebay.

Sorry Jord, but an auction on eBay isn't a bargain until the auction has ended - you won't get that top for £20!

Yes the starting price is cheap, but unless it's a Buy It Now, it 'aint really a bargain ....yet.

Garman Etrex (yellow type) on ebay - item no: 7162591063

45mins to go and only £28 so far..

Don't worry it's not my item! Listing says tatty box and old warehouse stock. This could be a bargain as it's listing is incorrectly spelt (germain etrex) and it's listed in computing and software, hence lack of bids.

I have bought a GPS off the same seller already.

Etrex ended up going for £41.65 (+ £5.35 postage).
Someone else on ebay is selling them on Buy-it-nows at £59.95 with £17.95 postage!
18/06/2005 at 17:33
£17.95. Robbin' b*gg*rs. It could be sent first class recordred delivery for £3!

I've never bought anything on ebay but know others who have and found the stuff to be damaged or fake. Charging £17.95 p&p is just outrageous. Never was the term "buyer beware" more apt than on ebay purchases.
18/06/2005 at 17:37
Would it sound quite as much of a bargain if it were advertised at £78 inc postage?
19/06/2005 at 11:36
not all things on e-bay are bad!
my own pro action one man had come to a sorry state after nearly 2 years of use, so i looked on ebay.
i bought a pro-action one man (last years model, brand new and unused) for £14 plus £5 postage.
when it arrived i noted the actual cost of posting, £7.20! the person let me know when it was posted and kept in touch to make sure it arrived safely.
i'm happy.

high post and packing is common on ebay. why do you think the price is so cheap to start with.

here are two pro action one man tents on e-bay. postage costs are £6.00 and £7.50. it might be wise to comfirm them to be last years model.

Cotswold Outdoors online have some good deals on Osprey:

Flux- £26 (£50)
Echo- £24 (£50)
Torque- £25 (£50)

I can get Osprey stuff at trade price from work, and I'll tell you that those prices are only pennies more than I can get them for.

£5 p&p though I believe...
