Agree - same with Lowe Mettle Tech - big differently-coloured patches stuck on like clown pants...sorry but I couldn't, I just couldn't.
30/03/2005 at 10:50
yep - we dont want to look like something out of 'The Wicker Man'... lol

Not just me who think they look silly then!
:-p

Maybe okay for foreigners, they seem to like them sort of colours, as my mate use to say everytime we passed one ... 'Hello Sven'

:-P

You appear to have underminined the whole purpose of the thread, I had hoped for a list of items that we'd all spied and wanted others to see.

Just more opinions then, oh well.

Don't you just love it when your thread gets hijacked?

Waaaaah! The form over function brigade strikes again.

See you down the catwalk gear geeks. If it works, who cares?
30/03/2005 at 22:54
Well normally I'd say yes but not coloured knee patches...
30/03/2005 at 23:16
yep, when i go out on the hill i also dont wanna look like a skateboader, no no no....
30/03/2005 at 23:19
I like coloured knee patches, and I think it's great that you can buy them new now instead having to wait until the knees wear out on your old pants.
30/03/2005 at 23:19
Sorry ptc.

I got a Tog24 Schoeller wb400 jacket for £99, RRP £185 from the McCather Glen outlet shop.

I wanted a strechy warm jacket fror scrambling/climibg and this is perfect. Very close fitting so no problems geiing a harness over it. They have mens and wommens but they only have bright red and bright blue so that excludes Cara buying one ;-)

And possibly the fact I live over 150 miles from the nearest McArthur Glen outlet?
I'd consider blue. Possibly.
But my microtherm smock is good for climbing so I don't really need another top.

Sangria? What sort of colour is Sangria? It's not a colour, it's a drink!
