Right, its now comming up to winter and im looking about for a pair of bibbed salopettes.

I have seen the TNF mammatus pant, however, they are very pricey. Are their any others about that you would know of?

Thanks for the help,

Maybe not what you're looking for, but i find my Paramo sallies brilliant in the winter. Very comfy.

i tried some Paramo aspira? sallies on in the lakes a few weeks ago, looked ace bits of kit! However,  i must remained focused on my goal of some bibs, and not get swayed by other shiny pieces of gear!

I tried out a friends pair of Lowe alpine XCR bibs on a winter trip last year and loved them. However, i cant seem to find anyone who do them in Proshell/ any other fabric!

The Paramo Aspira sallies have a bib. Maybe it was the Aspira troos you tried? I'm a bit confused.

yeah they werent bibbed. looking at the website they were the trousers. Though they are for alpine type stuff, a fair amout of sitting around, so i dont know how paramo would fair on that front? The only bit of paramo kit i have is a Fuera windproof smock.

They have totally waterproof panels on the arse! Perfect for sitting around. Someone was selling a pair on here recently.

They are on this thread.
