Boot fit, leather lining

I have a broad front foot, a narrow heel and the top of my foot is relatively high. Can anyone recommend the likely best brand to try first?

I'd been looking for a leather lined boot without a GTX lining and tried on the Meindl Borneo, but it's too narrow at the front. I'm told the Lowa Munroe is similarly narrow. Any thoughts?

Altberg?

They can make you something for your foot. They have fitting sessions in various places at certain points during the year

Ah, yes - but pricey. If all else fails...

Very difficult to be sure from a text description, but what you say sounds quite like my feet and I fit Scarpas really well.  The Ranger and SL come unemcumbered with waterproof linings.

But if you can find a good fitter then my personal recipe should become irrelevant as they'll measure you up and aim you at a selection to choose from.

Pete.

Your not the first to suggest the Ranger. Thanks - and I'll find a good fitter.
