Breathable Ponchos

Can anyone point me in the direction of a supplier of breathable ponchos.
I'm off to Vietnam for a charity trek first week of November and rather than carry waterproofs I reckon a poncho would be the best solution. Only problem is, most of the ones I've seen would be like portable saunas in use.
Any suggestions would be very welcome.

I don't know about breathable ponchos Mike but I would suggest you would not need to try to keep dry rather to concentrate on finding clothing that is comfortable when wet and dries quickly afterwards.
In my experience keeping dry in that sort of environment is practically impossible if you are moving around.

Whatever poncho you find should do, as Mark says, you'll be wet and sweaty anyway. When I was in Vietnam, I bought a couple of those use-once types for 14-20,000 Dong, which is like £1 or less.. The locals sells most things trekkers & backpackers may need. So my advice is buy cheap on location, throw in a bin after use.
