Not a bargain thread just info on where to get Buffs that UK suppliers don't have.

http://www.buffwear.com/index.html

I've got standard & Polar buffs but got a Cyclone buff from Buffwear - very nice piece of (expensive) gear.

Large hankies are cheaper

plus reported this thread as it is realy offensive

I think it is about time that they made Buffs a legal requirement for hillwalkers, a bit like motorcyclists having to wear a helmet are, or motorists have to wear seatbelts!

Anyone found on the hills without one should then have the book thrown at them, lock them up and throw away the key!!!

;-))))) <<<<<please note !!

I think it's well overdue the time that WD got himself on a hillside in the Buff.

Did I really say that??

What came first, Buff UK or Buff USA?

The UK stuff seems to be made in Barcelona and the US stuff..... well they don't say, so it'll probably be some Mexican sweatshop.

Being a bit more mindful of who makes what where these days....

Now where did I put that horse hair shirt...?

Buff UK came first and, as far as I know, it's all made in Spain.

Wow, that kind of thing is getting rare. Well done them.

So now we can all look like Berlusconi *and* be happy knowing we're wearing 'local kit'.

I really thought I had purchased everything I need, now I need a buff! Can you wear them like a highwayman, or will you suffocate? Not that I'm planning to rob stagecoaches on the Honister Pass but a bit of wind protection on the face doesn't go a miss.

Also does anyone have a summer buff? Do they wick and dry better than the original?

God, I'm so exicited, which garish colour to get? Pavement pizza, bad night on acid, or just plain black?

Buffs are made in Spain, and while I think they're cool and I have one myself, I should add that I would NEVER pay the UK price for one, and you can get them HALF PRICE whenever you go for a walk through Spain.
24/08/2006 at 12:21
Ahem, well, you, erm, Ooooo look a badger.
24/08/2006 at 12:22
Darren- come into the fold, go on the hill in a buff.......

You know you want to!

Buffs are dead useful!
24/08/2006 at 12:28
Absolutely.

I've got 3 ....... and I want more!!!!

Must agree with Paddy though. Prices can be a bit much! Worth it though!! LOL!
