What outdoorsy stuff is on your list?

I'm really struggling to find something outdoorsy to put on my list. So far it stands as; Silva Expedition 4 compass, Ortlieb Map Case, 1:25k OS map of Skye.

UK hill walking is my game. I'm off to Skye in Easter and in May I'm going to have a go at the Welsh 3000s peak to peak in 10 hrs, so some running will be involved. I've got nothing for running in other than my gym kit, the rest is all for hill walking.

Any ideas?

What gadgets do you have or have on your list?

Kylie. And Mylene Klass. Naked rambling. Nuff said.

er did you mean the two aforementioned ladies separately or together?

Together. So they've got someone to talk to afterwards when I've gone to sleep. I'm a considerate fellow you know.

I want a petzl myo xp or a black diamond icon, some new fell running shoes and some crampons and I could go on, but that would just be tormenting myself.

I've probably not been a good enough boy this year to get a visit from santa though (which is something for Jon and the team to bear in mind when making the draw for the advent calendar competition), and I did pass my uni course yesterday so I deserve a treat for that.

Who needs material things though? I shall go for my usual xmas eve walk up Ben Lomond and be more than happy and content.

that last bit was well cheesy. God Bless America, styly.

Sorry for that

I should think so, I love my expensive GPS, Paramo, Berghaus, Montane, many Cameras, Bins, PDA....

"Money can't buy you happiness"...Yeh right...I'm not going out on the hills in a bin liner.

People who say materialism is evil are generally middle class types who are never going to worry about not having 'materials'.

I'd quite like one of those new, longer sporks .

Im after some overtrousers after ruinining another pair, probably get a budget pair as I rarely wear them and have a natural ability to wreck them.

Thinking Berghaus Deluge ( mixed reviews on this site) although I do like the montane atomic but fear ill wreck those in record time.I really like the montanes in e-vent aswell but wonder about there durability.
