Clearing out

Must get rid of all my gear

Due to dire circumstances domestically, I'm going to need to offload most, if not all, my gear. Most will be up for grabs for post and packaging only. The gear will include tents, rucksacks, stoves and waterproof jackets, trousers etc. I will sell the rucksacks, which are all in good order, at rock bottom prices. the alternative is to give the whole shebang to charity shops but I'd rather someone keen on the outdoors get their mits on my stuff.
I have to have a sort out first and give all clothing and waterproofs a wash, the reproofing I will leave to whoever bags the respective item. It might be a little while because time is at a premium at the mo. This is just a heads up.

Mal.

Sad times Mal

I'm sure people will happily pay what the items are worth, you have good kit I know.

Bad times and good luck! I'll be sure to make a generous donation for anything though even if you don't want much!

Thanks for the sentiments, they're appreciated.

Don't forget, when I get my shit together enough to offload this gear, anyone who takes something is helping me.

Really sorry to hear the above Mal.

I've not met you, but i know your Kid well and he's a proper decent fella.

Wish you all the best and hope 'things' get better for you.

Hope you're keeping a bit of day-walking kit, Mal, the Beacons aren't far away for us.

Oh Mal. So sorry to hear

Make sure folks give a decent donation to a charity of your choice if you're not going to sell your kit.

Best wishes, Milly x

Hi Mal

Sorry to hear about this. I'm a scout leader and I'm looking for some large rucksacks and stoves. I'd be happy to give you a donation for most stuff as countless kids will be able to make very good use of it for years to come. My personal mail is open if you'd be happy to give us a look at it.

Hope you get through it okay.

I have no idea what circumstances would make me get rid of everything.

On that basis..if I have anything from you, when you get yourself sorted, you can have it back - like you have loaned it to me.

My very best to you and yours, Mal.

As others have said, even if you don't want to receive cash for any items, a donation to an appropriate charity - SARDA, Mountain Rescue Council, individual MRTs and similar - would be a good compromise.

Good luck, mate -  I'll be thinking of you and wishing you well.

I'll just echo everyone else in hoping that circumstances improve again for you, Mal
