There is indeed some decent stuff there with decent sale prices.

But what on earth is a Marmot Women's Light Streak Pant?
(Available at half-price for those of you with a desire to streak.....)

Wish I had some of those Lewes Pounds to spend... the only currency that's sky-rocketing in value!

So much for spending them locally!

Yeah... basically, people are bidding up to £40 for something that can be exchanged in a shop in Lewes for £1! What's more, there's no guarantee that in future years any of the shops will even honour the £1 exchange! Still... some folks do like to collect funny things!

I heard on the BBC that they decided to print a whole lot more because people were selling them on eBay rather than spending them. Looks like sound economic sense to me (so says my financial advisor, Robert Mugabe)!

Their new big current paper catalogue of outdoors kit should, if you are on their mailing lists, be popping through your leterbox anyday now too. Mine arrived here this morning in my post!

You just need to sign up for their mailing list online to request the paper catalogue there mate. Same as with Field and Trek, and Cotswold outdoors too. Well worth having these for all the extra details on kit in there, that are not always there online in some retailers stores on the web.
