Am I the only person who thought this was actually quite a sensible idea? Or perhaps just the only person who's broken something recently?

We all need to go outdoors in the rain sometimes, even if it's only a walk to the shops, and the standard binliner and duct tape combo just collects sweat rather revoltingly inside with even the tiniest use.

I don't plan on breaking my leg again in the near future but I'd certainly be interested in something like this if I did. I might even buy one anyway, on the grounds that when you carry an umbrella it never rains.

Yeah, I thought it was a fantastic idea. I broke my hand in a motorbike accident years ago and used to run with a plaster cast on - a waterproof / breathable cover would have been a vast improvement on the placcy bag I actually used in the wet.

I was just bemused by the idea that it had been designed by a fashion designer...

do they come in left or right "foot" models or are they uni-fit for both feet?
