The search facility here is so shit i can't find the recent thread, but those saying you shouldn't compress down too much, have you swapped to a top bag, cos sure as hell your 10-15st body weight compresses the bottom of the bag beyond repair?, as surely does sleeeping on top of one on unexpectedly hot nights, no. ?
Same must apply for down jackets and trousers on the elbow, shoulder and hip areas. ?
So down is a waste of time basically as the areas we're most looking to keep warm are those that compress it the most rendering it useless in that area. ?
Or am i missing something. ?

Oh i dunno, my 5800 works just fine, it's these new fangled android machines that don't work, no surprise really if you put ice cream sandwiches in their usb ports, or something.
Anyway, reported you both for spamming my down thread.

But what value of "too much"? Clearly sleeping on it isn't "too much", or my Lightline (well in to its second decade) would be useless by now rather than warm and useful.
