primaloft? wearable outside then.

primaloft? wearable outside in damp then. spare trousers in public.

Im a cold person when at rest, and hardly see the need for down trousers outside full winter. specially with that 'look'!

 Thanks, very useful.

Ed, maybe a bit too lightweight.

Mole, maybe the Montanes.

What are they to be used for?

Depends on which Western Mountaineering ones, the flash are just pure down (more similar to the Phd ones in warmth)

The Wm flight have more down and fitted with side zips, and obviously heavier.

Beware that they all have stitch through construction so can get cold spots.

As Mole mentioned Primaloft or similar synthetics are a good option.

I find the Montane Prisms more than adequate, and only about 60-80g heavier than a down pair. Think i only paid £60 in the Tiso sale for mine.

Prisms it is then

Thankyou gents.
