I'm on a mission to scrounge, if there is any outdoor gear out there (any sport) not being used or is not needed, in ok condition we would like it. Please contact me, visit our website at www.uppernidd.com it is well recomended plus there is game featuring our leader and alcohol. Thanks TomT

I dont know but being a scout i wonder where all the gear that the magazines and websites like this go after its been handed back to the manufacturer.
I recon they do a few tests and then bin it.
How about handin it out to us scouts then???????

Who has said yes and given you free stuff(if at all) and who has said bugger off??
It will be interesting to find out.
They may just offer you stuff at retailers prices but even so thats good.
If you dont need anything well..........

I am working on it, but it is top secret, but if your looking to scrounge try writting to big outdoor companies, last year I managed to scrounge £150 off vango to put towards a light weight tent, have a go at it.
