Wondered if anyone was using GPS mapping software on an AppleMac - is any available that doesn't need a Windows emulation? Also, if using Windows emulator what kind of success do you have? I'm running Mac OS X by the way!
Thanks!

Hi Mike, just found this on Google:
www.gpsy.com

You can download an trial package and I'd be interested to know what you make of it. Seems to me that unless you link the GPS unit to computer, you're using ony 5 per-cent of its capabilities and making life much harder for yourself too given the way GPS interfaces are designed - the phrase 'user hostile' springs to mind.

I'm running Anquet using Virtual PC on a 500 Mhz iMac and while the Anquet software appears to be pretty good, the emulator - running Windows 97 I think - is pants and everything runs very slowly. I also use OSX by the way. I'd not recommend the experience...
