Hedgehog lining

I took up the sale offer from GO for some hedgehogs after trying them on in millets and thinking they felt very nice.

When i got them through the post they did fit perfect but i couldn't help noticing the goretex lining was sort of scruntched up by the toe area effectively ridging the material a bit and you could feel it through my normal socks.

The ones i tried on in the shop were with thicker socks so maybe that is why i didn't notice.

But is this normal? Or should i send them back?

I would imagine that every pair will have some sort of ridge in the toe. The lining will float to a degree, if you imagine the sole is stuck to the top and bends is thus making ridges. I would suggest if you feel it and think it would rub take them back.

The lining in my hedgehogs is definately looser/slacker in the toe section but there is no bunching.I can wear them all day with thin socks and not a feel a thing.

Cant fault them apart from the fact that they are a little narrow in the toe area for me.

666_pack   I   have had 3 pairs over the past few years and the latest (the black ones ) have been further improved by the laces having  eyes for the laces at the top of the shoe rather than just having those loops that move about and become slack . I think they are great and will buy another pair when i need to.
