they use DryQ Elite and eVent which are what I want I DON'T want Gore-tex at all...it would be nice if i could layer like some type of thick insulation but isn't baggy when worn alone like being active or in summer rain

Seems like it would depend on what features you want, which only you can know. Some people like pit zips, others don't, ditto multiple pockets, long or short length, double storm flaps etc. Not to mention what the end use is. As for fit (also a personal thing) I usually wear heavy insulation, in the form of a Primaloft jacket, over my waterproof. I'm not quite sure how I could fit it under a close fitting waterproof top. And if you don't like Gore (which I've always found to be a decent product) then how about Paramo?

I wouldn't completely disregard Gore-Tex - it does a decent job and I've found it reliable. The jackets seem to be for mountaineering, based on their short cut. Is this what you want? If you want it more for walking then a longer cut may also be an option. All three jackets will do a decent job, but it's hard to say which is best as you don't give much information. How they fit, what features they have and how comfortable they feel are important factors - don't just pick a jacket based on the fabric.

The Rab momentum seems like a lighter version of the Latok alpine, whilst the MH victorio is a decent all purpose mountain shell.

rather than a list of jackets and "not Goretex", what do you actually plan on using it for?  Is your idea of a perfect shell one you wear all day, or one that takes up minimal space in the bottom of your pack unless it's pouring?  What other stuff will you be using it in conjunction with?  Will you be wearing a helmet with it?

This is, ISTM, something of a contradiction.  Either there's room for more stuff underneath, in which case it's baggy to some extent, or it isn't and thus doesn't.  So while it would be nice it isn't necessarily practical.  In terms of getting the best compromise for your personal fit requirments there's no substitute for trying stuff on in person.  And while I'm not a great fan of Goretex either, assuming basically equal features then given a choice between a Goretex jacket that fitted me really well and a Miracle Fabric Super-Duper-Tex jacket that didn't fit me well at all, I'd take the Goretex.

Pete.

yeah a helmet compatible would be nice, and about the layering thing i dont mean for it not to baggy, when alone, AT ALL, if its capable of having a big layer underneath i just mean its ok if its a little baggy by itself, yet capable of having a layer underneath, and i will be using this for ice climbing, snowboarding/trekking, backpacking (4-season), all types of rain...I have heard gore-tex can be very good, but breathability is better on the DryQ Elite and eVent and they are just as waterproof if not more ("DryQ Elite is 40,000K vs Gortex is about 30,000K)...I want it to be durable but not too heavy,
