No, it's dead easy. But you don't need one (I didn't at least), adds weight and the you'll have no weher you put your muddy boots..

Check out this link:

About a zillion pics of Nallo (and a bunch of other tents), scroll down and click on "Additional photos", of set up, inner, outer etc etc.

thanks I posted that site here myself, but they have no pics of the porch footprint set up (great site tho). I carry a bunch of plastic bags for putting boots on ect, means I can work in the porch without getting muddy or wet. So for me it's a good idea

But your'e not planning to bring the Nallo 2 for your winter-hike, are you? I was drenched in condensation on a winter hike last spring, had to abort and head home. Akto is supposed to be way better for winter trips.

I got this e-mail from Hilleberg today:

"The new 2004 footprints that will cover the whole tent (inner and vestibule) will be available in January – it will also fit in the tent bag but can also be attached to the tent and left there"

Sounds like just what i want and JUST in time

I bought a space blanket today, for my tarp. 55 gram, 130x200 cm, £2.50. Perfect groundsheet, I'll use it until it's to dirty or full of holes, bin it and get another one..
