I'm about to buy this sleeping bag...anything better for the money before i do?

Have seen it for 164 pounds

4 litre pack volume

550g total weight

5-22 degrees comfort

260 grams of 850 fillpower down (i think that is on european scale)

Its the longer 195cm version.

Anyway i've been  looking for a while and this seems like pretty good specs for a pretty good price but i'm ready to listen otherwise.

Does anyone have any experience with this particular bag?

Where is it available at that price?

Thanks for the link. I have read the article and think it still is a good choice! He wasn't overly enthusiastic but i think that is in part down to the fact it is somewhat more expensive than the ones he compares with.

Too late now anyway...

Well i made a little mistake. The Long version is cheapest here...177 pounds...

The shorter 180cm version though is available here for a quite impressive (its a shame i'm too tall...)...142 pounds seems almost like a steal!!!!

Actually just checked and they have the long one too and pound or so cheaper aswell...

Shame my girlfriend won't find it warm enough so ordered her an alpkit 600 instead. Bit of a splurge really....

I live in Holland and delivery from bergfreunde.de is free to Holland, i'm not sure if the same applies in the uk.

I should also point out i have never ordered anything from st-online before but have not found a reason not to...would not know what delivery costs are...

Anyway got mine ordered and looking forward to its arrival!!

On the review it mentioned it was heavier than advertised and i have read similar stories that it is around 60 or so grams heavier. Thought i'd add that in case it is a dealbreaker...

V interesting. I think I'm more tempted by the Mountain Equipment as it has a more weatherproof shell. Now just to find it at that price...
