Laser confusion

Hullo all!

I've recently acquired a Terra Nova Laser tent but I have no idea what model/version it is, there seem to be various types of Laser, eg 'Competion', 'Laserlite'. All I know is that the label inside the bag just says 'Laser' and that it's a 2-person tent (although who can say is it for 2 very close friends or a bit spacious for 1 person? Seems to be the same size as my Akto).

 I'm told it's from the year 2009.

Any ideas? It weighs 1.287kg with its own 'pegs' - needles I'd describe them as, and I can't see those holding the tent down in any kind of win, so I'll be replacing those with V-shaped pegs.

Did TN ever have a tent just called a 2-person Laser?

The laserlite was the previous version of the laser competition, both 1 man tents, the laser is the 2 man version.

my laser has 2 doors, it's a 2010 model.  i believe it's described as a 1+ tent, so just barely big enough for 2 adults, although i intend to use it for myself and my 5 year old boy so should cope fine.

Looking at their website it seems the laser is no more. There is now a Laser Comp 2 for 2 men with 1 door only.

I'll just have to call it my Laser 2009, then   Headroom I can't say - I tried to erect it in the living room but with just the one pole at each end it flops all over the place and I gave up, especially as the previous owner had also unclipped the inner. A tangle of tapes and strings and I can't set it up on turf yet as the ground here is frozen solid at minus 29 Centigrade.

When I inserted the metal pole for the central arch the arch was lop-sided, unlike photos I have seen of the Laser.

The Akto goes up in a jiffy in the living room and feels overall more robust and stable. I got the Laser as I was curious to see one
