Hi

Anyone give me some info/feedback on the Lenser H14 headtoch? never really seen much on them other than the videos on youtube seem pretty bright and very functional

i do a lot of hills, mountaneering well into the dark at times and a lot of mtn biking so the 220 lumens and bike mount kit seem good. can get it for £52 delivered, not sure of the quality etc

i have just recently purchased the new black diamond icon 200 lumens very nice if a bit heavy puts my Myo RXP to shame

I use a Zebralight H600 for night hikes.

750lm on turbo for those times when you need to see a bit further to get your bearings and just over 2 hours use in the high mode of 420lm.

Absolutely fantastic torch.

If you want something lighter and AA though the new H502 is another fantastic light, it has a LOT more flood which i find useful at the camp.

The H502 puts out 260lm or more if you use Lithium batteries, yet weighs only 78 grams with battery and headband.

Both great torches, but for hiking i prefer the H600, here's a size comparison of my 2.

And compared to my SC600

Hi William. We have one. The bike mount bit makes sense for someone like yourself, the torch can also be clipped onto the battery box which turns the whole thing into a compact light that can be used to walk the dog. On full power it causes comment form our neighbours. In all honesty its to much of a torch for us and we only used it a couple of times so my opinion/experience is limited to navigating me and the dog to the village recreation ground and back. If you live nearby you are welcome to come and have a try before you go out and buy one.
