HAS ANY ONE WORN A LOWE ALPINE ADRENALIN PULL ON IN THE HILLS IN WINTER?IF SO DID IT STAND UP TO THE WEATHER?

Hello Paul, the answers here for me are yes and perhaps. I use a LA Adrenaline jacket for hill running mostly and it's been fine - sweaty but wind and waterproof. It's not that breathable IMHO but for the weight I don't mind; otherwise if it's not peeing down with rain I usually go for a windshell. The last few years KIMM events have had pretty foul weather and it's coped adequately on these. But I have to say I wouldn't use it in cold wet walking trips over longer periods - if only mentally 'cos I'm happier in a full protection 3ply GTX type jacket, it just feels more reassuring. Also it's not a particularly strong fabric and so I don't climb - summer or winter - in it - it would lose arguments with crampons or ice axes.... But for winter day walks, fine.
Oh and by the way upper case letters are taken as SHOUTING on forums and best avoided unless you want smartarses like me telling you to quieten down....

My walking buddy uses one quite often, and like Ben he feels its not as breathabl as it coul be. However he has used it in pretty crap conditions with no complaints about its weatherproofness (is tha a word?).

Not very breathable and with limited venting potential, hood is quite minimal which could be a factor in serious winter sidewinds, also relatively short cut and lacks pockets. I've used one in winter for biking and running, though again I'd prefer something more breathable, or even a windproof in those conditions.

For general walking in full winter conditions, I'd prefer a jacket with a more substantial hood and better breathability. It'll keep the rain out for sure. The inner surface does get slick with condensation, which is an acquired taste.

I've climbed water ice in the Adrenaline pants btw, and they did lose an argument with someone else's crampon points...
