I bought one from CCC in Sheffield last summer and although I was impressed with the warmth/pack size I found after a couple of months use that it was falling to pieces, I took it back to the shop and spoke to the manager who said they`d had 3 returned for the same reason in the last week!
I exchanged it for a Rab Vapour-Rise on his recommendation, it`s a similar sort of product and same price so it was a straight swop and I would definately recommend it.
I have found in summer it is a great replacement for a fleece, a lot lighter and smaller pack size, and more versatile, it keeps you warm in summer temperatures due to being windproof but you dont overheat as much as you would in a fleece.
In winter it`s not as warm as a conventional fleece but then I wear it in place of a sweater with a fleece over the top which also works very well.
