It's time to retire the old pro lite thermarest so I'm looking at new mats.Either a Neoair or maybe the Pacific Outdoor Uberlite Arbor.I've read plenty on the Neo but don't know anything about the Uberlite Arbor apart from it's about half the Neo's price.Any thoughts?

Cheers.

Very different. The uberlite seems to be a very light, thin self inflating pad - and quite possibly only a torso length pad with the Uber attached? The neo is a warmish inflating thing that inflates rather thicker.

Neo seems to be a little lighter, similar warmth, and will pack a lot smaller. Quite possinly more comfortable too.

There is a genuine non trivial caveat with the Neo mind - TAR are due to replace it very soon with the X-lite and X-therm. Also exped are doing a Downmat UL.

Some very impressive specs on those ones. (X-therm/Down mat UL very warm, and not hugely heavy either.). They won't be cheap of course but at worst you might very well catch some Neo's in sales.

So I'd think worth waiting a little bit to see. (The X-lite can be had in a few places, the X therm not until the start of April now it seems.).
