and my local Borders shop has failed dismally, Amazone etc are no good, so can anyone out there direct me to a good online bookshop/map retailer that will have the IGN series of maps in stock?

Yeah, or see our links section under gear shops and books and maps for some more retailers.

Stanfords is unaccountably one of the slowest and least intuitive sites on the web. Set aside a full day if you intend to use it...
