I am looking at buy the Sirrus 36 pack - I will be using for a pack that is good for my chronic back pain that I can use for my trip to Samoa in Oct/Nov for onboard luggage and for day and overnight trips.
I live in the middle of nowhere and would love to go a store and try one out but unfortunately I have to resort to buying online. I have had a problem with sizing though - I measured my back from iliac crest (48cm/18.89inches) and hips (90cm/35.43inches) I am just 6 foot tall. In torso I fit a medium but in hips I am a large - I know I should sway towards the medium for the right torso length but am I going to loose too much in the hips? Anybody have any experience with this pack and can help me out?
