I was about to buy one when I thought will this be too warm in a British summer? Even used as a quilt? If so are there any decent down bags rated to about +2 C for £150?

...depends if you sleep hot, i could easily get away with a PD400 in UK summer.

Best allround bag you can get for the money.

Mines perfect for summer even in the lower alps.   I need a warmer bag for spring.

I sleep quite 'cold' and have been using a PD 600 for the majority of the 'summer'!

Well, I ordered one this afternoon to see what the fuss is about. Expect I'll be selling my TNF Blue Kazoo shortly.

I've got a cumulus 350 and it is very warm in the UK summer, unless unzipped top and bottom. I think it's more suited to spring and autumn. I do sleep like a hot rock in a sauna though.

I was cold in mine when i used it in April (Although it did get down to around -3 ish). Haven't been camping for a few months but would imagine it being fine for the summer. I'll probable need to get a 600 fill one for early spring/late autumn and occational uk winter.

It wont be too warm, I slept out in my SH 800 last week. May sound excessive but temps probably dropped to high single figures.

All this talk about fill weight's and fill powers made me wonder if I can use mine in lower temperatures as long as I have good thermal leggings and top? I've just bought a Helly Hansen Lifa warm set to cope with the colder weather. My cumulus 350 Ultralight is rated to -3
