Rab Volt issues

Hi all,

I purchased a Rab Volt lightweight jacket about 3 months ago to use as a packable summer waterproof.My Paramo Alta II is just too warm. I've noticed slight water leakage on the shoulders and upper arms. I always use this in conjunction with an Osprey Stratos 26 rucksack as well as an Exos 58.

Has anyone else experienced any similar problems?

Rab have advised me to take it back to Go Outdoors and they will forward it on to them for analysis

The problem is, this leaves me without a waterproof jacket?

A pretty good chance that its sweat getting trapped there. There's stuff like rucksack straps involved which obviously don't help and its there that DWR'sn (and so breathability) give up earliest, so you will certainly see sweat get collected.

Easiest way to check if it is a pure leak or not would maybe be standing in a shower for a bit.....

What have you got on underneath it most of the time?

Most of the time I wear a T-shirt/Rab Boreas or Merino Long sleeve top underneath.
