More bag advice

I'm after a rucksack recommendations for lightweight overnighters and I'd like to make a decent choice this time (the wife is complaining I have more bags than she does).

I have fairly sloped shoulders and am not the tallest and have probs locating bags that are comfy. I was using an OMM Villian but the thin shoulder straps don't sit flat on my shoulders and hurt like hell after a few hours. I have a Vango Contour 50 which is my comfiest bag having an adjustable back system plus well padded straps but it's heavy and far too big.

I'm really after something in the 30-40L range and don't mind trading a bit of weight for comfort but lightening the load is my main aim at the mo.

Jonno

The Go-lite peak has nice fat straps but has to be packed with a bit of care.  it is comfy though.
