Hi,

Having reached an age where I need to carry so much gear that it will not fit in my pockets.Drugs, sprays, phones and a diary to remember everything.I am looking for a daybag not a manbag to fit the bill.Any suggestions.

I use a Deuter AC Lite 10 for that sort of job and it's excellent. Just enough pockets to be useful without cluttering things, light and comfortable. But I don't think you can go far wrong with any sack of that size as far as comfort goes -- it's not as if you'll carry much weight in it.

I was looking for something similar myself. Something I can throw a moleskin, a kindle, a wind shirt, lunch and a bottle of water into. the other main use I've got is as a dad bag (nappies, wipes, drink, snacks, coat, change of cloths). I'd prefer a bag with a top grab handle and a tall side stash pocket for a water bottle.

Would keep your kindle dry, currently out of stock though.

I like the Haglofs corker things. Tons of very useful pockets. Large one could be a bit big but its the one they've got good pictures of - here. The small/mediums are set up a little differently but still good.

(Cotswolds have mediums and larges in mustard yellow going cheapish.).

That ultra sil day sac is a very thin fabric so really not sure for daily use.

I have gourdon stealth which is good but only one pocket.I also have a sea to summit which again folds down small but is only one pocket. The haglof looks good but wrong colour.

Much more than one colour for them - each of the sizes has sundry options.Think non identical between the sizes too. Of course they might all be wrong

(look under the main photo for the others.).

I use a Camelbac HAWG which has loads of useful pockets and the added benefit of a hydration reservoir
