Listen I know this is an outdoor website but unfortunatly technology invades our lives for better or for worse.

I'm trying to find some ringtones for the mobile listed above.

If anyone can help I'd be very grateful

God, if mobile phones aren't annoying enough OUTSIDE on the hills, they have to come on here too!!!!!!!!!

Ring tones get on my t1t's. I heard one muppet violating Elgar by using Pomp and Circumstance the other day.

Just make them bloody ring like a normal phone should!

Sorry. <Rant mode OFF>.

alex, it appears you have a serious chip on your shoulder about everything. Everthing seems to wind you up, i think you need to relax and chill out a touch, fo gods sake it only a web site and web site are useful tools for people to gather information on an evening, while during the day the rest of us are out doing our jobs, maybe you are unemployed or just sad enough to sit and look at web sites all day critising everyone and everything. (no offence intended to web designers whose job it is to look at web sites all day!)
Alex either give useful information or shut up, a question is only stupid if you daren't ask the answer. If we all though the same day in day out then the world would pretty dull, especially if it was full of alex fords!

rant over

Dunno where to go to (www.mobilemelodies.com is one I used to use along with www.boltblue.com), but expect to pay for it as you will have to phone them up. I don't think that anyone does it totally free any more.

tee hee!!!!!!!

Refuses to be drawn into a flame war!

Errr why don't you program it in yourself? My son has more time on his hands than me so I leave it to him. Cheaper, too. Currently enjoy mine playing 'Thankyou' by Dido (but HE insists he programmed it to play Eminem)..........

:0)

Alex! Play nicely!!

Blimey, someones tired!!

Hmm on this one I have to say it is a bit of a daft question to ask on an outdoor website (rant over) however if you really are looking then try monster mobiles,or phones for you!
And Si. W take a chill pill man and learn what a sense of Humour is on this site otherwise you will soon be slagging everyone off!
Sorry bout that but I had to vent my anger etc somewhere and its better not done in the house, I might loose us our bond otherwise :-(

"I'm trying to find some ringtones for the mobile listed above."....... Simon you sad b@stard!

Have I strayed onto the wrong forum here or can someone explain to me the link between ringtone & the great outdoors????

Personally I hate all these different ring tones. There's nothing more anoying than a mobile with a silly tone going off in an open plan office or a train carrage........ Why not stick to a descrete "Ring Ring" or better still, use the vibrate option.

Whooaaa! Come ON people, why all the anger?
It was only a polite bloody enquiry!
Perhaps Simon W inadvertantly thought he had logged onto OM, you know, the Website with forums where people seem to be able o discuss ANYTHING, even if its not entirely to do with the outdoors?
Perhaps if he'd mentioned sheep somewhere then he'd have been inundated with helpful or even funny replies?
And if you really don't think that this sort of query belongs on this website.......THEN DON'T BLOODY POST HERE! That way it will soon dissapear out of sight and into nothingness.

Si

PS Vibrate function is useless if your phones not attached to you or on a desk etc. I should know, I miss calls all the time!!

06/03/2002 at 11:37
We are discussing it......

It just happens to be a pet hate of mine and I'm sharing my opinion.

: )

Again, personally.... I leave my mobile on silent &/or turn it off (especially on trains) rather than get on peoples t1ts. If I miss the call & it's important, I'm sure they'll leave a message.

No, and someone shouted it on a train a few weeks ago when THAT ringtone went off, most of the carriage strated laughing, and the poor guy with the phone went kind of beetroot colour!

"strated"? "STRATED"?
Think I meant started.

God if wasn't for my mobile they'd never let me out of the office.
Watching Monster's Inc the other day a couple of young girls next to us texted their way through the entire film!

Careful Mark. Helping people on forums one day, accompanying old grannies across the road the next.

You might even end up as a charitable citizen. Just keep an eye on it, ok?
06/03/2002 at 12:05
Sorry..... I don't know what came over me??!!??

<Pauses for deep breath>

Don't worry, I'll get back to being my usual vindictive b@stard self.

Phew.......
