It'll most likely be last 2011 stock at this price, but does that make a difference at this reduction?

Was in the Field and Trek today in Guildford and they had stocked up, I counted 9 tents at £132 (cost not incurring delivery)....a guy in there bought 3 which is stated to be the maximum!

Frustrating thing is you can't pay over the phone and collect from store. They have definitely sold out on line but some stores still have one or two left.

They apparently sold approx 300 over the Internet.Was in F and T in Ambleside today but they have sold out and even had a chap come all the way over from York to collect one.

Where are these tents coming from? I'm guessing the either F&T screwed up and bought (far) too many OR that these are last years models and TN are getting rid of them cheap.... doesn't sound like TN to me!

Mine arrived today, even came with a free Sports Direct mug! Very generous!

I've seen lots of these appearing on EBay, private sellers selling 3-5 for between £199-250.

I don't care about making money just glad to have one nothing stopping me doing LEJOG now

I received mine today. It looks to be the 2012 model and is actually marked up as £329.99!

First impressions are that it's a bit like a toy tent compared to my Akto and doesn't really ooze the same level of quality, with some of the fittings feeling a bit flimsy (and what is that pole hood all about and bodged, faffy afterthought if I've ever seen one).

It's also pretty hard to get a taught pitch, not helped by the stupidly feeble pegs; however, once inside the additional 5cm headroom compared to the Akto is noticeable and when you open the inner door the porch space is pretty good.

This is obviously all based on a first pitch in my back garden, so I'll have to get out in it to give it a real test. It is nice a light though.

Ok second impressions when pitched using some decent v pegs are much better. I was able to get it nice and tight and with a bit of tension on the pole hood it actually seemed pretty stable.

The pegs are tiny! I may use the ones from my Quasar.

Mercurykev I've watched a video on how to pitch it, is it fairly straight forward? Reviews suggest it takes a bit of practice to get right.

My problem was the supplied pegs couldn't take the strain required to make it's nice and taught. Using v pegs soon sorted that out.

Field and Trek Guildford have 7 left by the way.

The manager said he sold out and re-ordered from the warehouse before the website sold out to ensure his customers had a chance!

He also said they were only offer till Friday not till sell out.

There's some decent mods somewhere on the web which brings the LC more in line with the Aktos.

Yep I wa looking at the mods last night on the blogpackinglight site. Not sure whether I should use the tent first in standard form before modding it!
