Not as far out as it may sound. I came across this condition, technical name hyponatremia, when I was researching how little water I could get away with carrying whilst climbing (answer - a lot less than you might think). Research has shown that in endurance races, where athletes deliberatly take up large amounts of water, it may actually be a more frequent problem than dehydration. Take a look at this or this for more details.

It was also brought to light a few years ago at Rave Parties with youngsters taking on too much H2O. Don't touch the stuff myself. What am I talking about? I spend most of my time in this sodden country's hills.

There really isn't a great deal new here. In t'old days when working reet 'ard in warm weather we consumed "salt tablets" dissolved in water. Yes!

Perspiration is more than H20 - there are salts and electrolytes there too. So? what's the message here?

Easy - don't go lite - go smart! There are very pleasant ways to increase electrolyte levels when working 'ard in summer sun. One of my faves is a lovely little pack of olives...

Thank you yes I have them. With melted butter.
Can't remember fax no. Will reply later this morrow.

Wouldn't the butter melt in the fax anyway?

That was part of the problem. Also that I had a struggle demodulating the potato.

Yes, tricky that. I have found that asparagus has stouoble with System-X A/D converters. Try lemons instead.
