Vaude Scutum

Anyone know when this tent will materialise?

 I was told last year that is was a February 2010 UK release date...

I remember reading somewhere that it wasn't going to be called the Scutum when it was released in the UK.

There is an amusing generic problem here - because we now get the previews via the internal trade shows (which logically have to work in advance I guess), by the time we actually get to spring everyone has forgotten what is coming

Might have to republish the previews or something

It's the Latin word for a shield and the name of a constellation. Still can't help thinking that it shouldn't have been used for a tent though. Would be a better name for a sac

I have to admit when things get abit blowy around my scrutum i tend use internal bracing.

I don't worry about avoiding temptation - as I grow older, it starts avoiding me

i know.  we've seen you at it.  disgusting.  all over the campsite.
