I'm a huge fan of TNF trekking pants, but which ones, I'm not sure as they're a tad worn and I can't read the labels.

Now I may have a new love and it's no surprise that Iwent and looked on the Mountain Equipment stands locally as their kit (of late?) looks really fit-for-purpose.

So, the Stretchi guide / civetta trews fit like a glove, look capable, and smart and seem very flexible. Thus far, most impressed and again, it's the liitle touches and not just the cut that set these apart from the rest - Craghoppers, TNF et al -

Tracksters: cheaper, lighter, better freedom of movement and faster drying  than pretty much any "walking trousers".  Not as windproof, but as we move away from winter something of a non-issue for the most part.

The ME Civetta's I have 'pilled up' like a demon - nice troos though.
