Which Inov8's?

I would like to get a new pair of off road running/walking shoes.  I really like my Inov8 212's  but want more squidge factor in the sole to take less of a pounding on harder tracks, hence I'm looking at Inov8's with 3 v whatever squidge factor in the sole.  I don't want goretex either and have provisionally narrowed it down to:

Flyroc 310

Roclite 295

Roclite 315

Terroc 330

I'm leaning towards the 295's but thought I'd gauge the combined wisdom of you lot.  Doesn't have to be Inov8 if someone really rates something different.

Thanks for your help.

Careful with the fit here. Partially I don't think they're 100% consistent accross the range anyway(how could they be??). But also the 212's have a performance last and all of those you've got are on their comfort last (info on their website.).

Quite a difference I suspect.

As for anything else, well first up it has to fit So almost whatever you can find to try that looks cushioned and feels 'right'. Doesn't need to be super grippy if aiming at hard pack.

Had a couple of pairs of 315's now but tbh they don't last that long and the sole compound is too soft for me, feel every stone even with sorbothanes in. Prefer montrails but can't get them here now as the soles on them are the best i've tried. I may consider the terroc 330 in the future just for walking in as i know people rate them for that. But i would give them a good try out in a shop first though. One thing on the positive side of the 315's the uppers are like slippers until your toe pops out the top, lol.

I believe the 325's are on a narrower last than the others?

I've got old Terrocs, Flyroc 310 and some very new Terrocs.  IMO there is less underfoot padding on the flyrocs.

I like the fact that I can feel the ground detail through the soles

Mine have held up pretty well, the oldest Terrocs have done well over 500 miles as well as days of everyday wear.  Still used regualrly for work.

I have both flyrocs and terrocs. I prefer terrocs because they fit me better - the flyrocs in the same size are just that bit too tight. My terrocs seem to last longer too. No idea why that is though.

Cheers Guys.  I'm going to have to try and find somewhere that stocks lots of them.  Too much choice and I'm indecisive about shopping most of the time anyway!

Got the 295's, not worn them through yet so can't comment on durability though! grip well however.
