£380 on boots for all the family.

TWELVE GRAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bloody Hell, if I spent that much the next bill would be for the divorce costs.

Come clean. Was one of the items a replacement Land Rover?
01/08/2003 at 22:16
Nope the Landy was 25 grand but doesn't count as I didn't spend it !!!

This was infact on waterproof clothing for the team :)

My wife would really kill me if it had come out of our bank account!

This thread is even more infantile than 'How much are you worth' !!
02/08/2003 at 07:36
Too damn right!
02/08/2003 at 08:45
So I'm infantile.

Lighten up folks. It may not be a dry discussion on relocation in featureless terrain, but both threads have entertained some of the people, some of the time.......

The other thread actually sparked me into renewing my insurance, which was out of date - after totting it all up I also realised my household policy was wofully inadequate, so from my perspective it served soma useful purpose. Long may the banality continue.......

I'm 32 and so by deed of age I've earned the right to choose to be infantile should I so wish :)

and i often do.................

Is infantile different from immature?
02/08/2003 at 11:12
Infantile is a lifestyle choice, but must not be confused with infanticide.

Immaturity is a fact of life, and is not to be recommended in cheese or beer.

If your so busy sittin in your chair why do u need all that gear? :-)
02/08/2003 at 19:50
He probly needs all the gear as he's the secretary of the Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team.

I'm sure you are gonna share it out a bit amongst the other MRT members aren't you?

You are, aren't you?
02/08/2003 at 21:15
Thanks for the info Alex ... that means he must have spent it all in The Barn Door Shop, or maybe it was an helicopter trip to Fishers or Cotswolds ! :-)
02/08/2003 at 21:48
Actually he WORKS in the Barn Door shop...
02/08/2003 at 22:26
I must ask the obvious question, which gear did you choose please?
