piezo gets affected by wet too.
My choice is a couple of poundshop lighters. keep one sealed in plastic.
My favourites are 5 for a quid, including a little led torch

hi MW---zippo lighter 6 days use approx on 1 generous fill in winter---half that time in the summer---you can use car petrol if desperate----put a spare flint in flint holder-------------regards lr

Nah, refillable lighters make no sense for my purposes. I'll just stick with two throwaways and a flint back-up. If I could have got one-shot refills en route, fine, otherwise it's a non-starter.
