Indeed, but whereas Dartmoor is relatively flat, the Brecon Beacons are not, so the water runs off the Beacons more easily. On Dartmoor it pools.

Pools on the Moor - never only Cranmere, Ducks crazy well ,etc etc etc, not to mention Mires !!!

When ever I take the wife there, she always ends up horizontal in the mud! I say it's because she doesnt listen, and knows best. Apparently, it's my fault!!!

On the M60 it pools too. The M6 doesn't move hardly at all and the M61 was closed

So we've had to abandon our attempt to reach southern territories. LMM has just arrived at Milly Mansions, so we'll make a plan from here...
