Day walks from Lancaster

Hi all,after reading the forum notes on walks near lancaster.It would appear a few of you may live in the area.

I was wondering if any one fancied meeting up and going for a walk during the week,or the odd weekend.

I stay outside Lancaster at Caton.At present i am only able to do low level walks,health prob at moment.

I am looking at starting to get going from end of Feb.

So if you fancy a walk give us a shout i could pick up if near by.

My Holiday home is on caton road at  crook o lune park,and just next to scarthwaite hotel.

Ahh, I know it well - usd to drive past twice a day on the way to and from work!  Have you ever seen the otters just over the road on the stretch of the Lune there?  They're nocturnal, but you sometimes catch a glimpse early in the morning.

Next time you're up, send me an email and if I'm free I'm sure we could arrange to meet up for a wee wander.

I live across the river at Heysham but unfortunately can't commit to anything at the moment until I get some relief from the Rheumatoid Arthritis.
