Dolgam Campsite

Hi Folks off to Dolgam campsite today for a few days so if anyone is passing feel free to pop in for a cuppa! Will be in the tadpole 23 tent incase anyone else is mad enough to be camping!

I was there on Monday night Joh, never saw you there mate! Not unless you were with that adventure group???

We were there until about 8:00pm on Monday we stayed Sunday night and it was really cold! We were pitched by the river on the left as you enter campsite a red renault clio being the transport. We saw the adventure group but could not decide if they were staying in those tents or not.

I got up there late Monday night. That adventure group stayed in there tents, although a few of them got flattened in the wind:-)
I had a cracking few days, just a shame about the snow:-( or lack of it!!
Maybe next time for the brew then...

Tell me about it Alison! I must admit I did enjoy a few days in the hills, with no agenda and only me to please.
There is nothing better than walking around the hills on a work day:-)

Yeah Brew next time! There was snow and plenty of ice on Snowdon on Moday which gave me the perfect excuse to chicken out of Crib Goch (again).

I done Crib Goch on Tue afternoon mate, it wasn't that bad considering. Great weather though, after some awful winds in the morning, it mellowed out and was really sunny and still which gave a perfect ending to a good day.

It is my mission to attend the next forum meet!
