Try the Long Distance Walkers Association.

They do longs walks all the time

Oh, is that why they call themselves the LDWA?

@ mountainboxer  What do you mean by "the big stuff"? Height? Length? Duration? Single day or multi-day? Number of tops? Technicality?

Bedouin's yer man. He's "stood on Volcano's in Guatemala, wandered on the great Steppes of Outer Mongolia, Climbed in the Himalayas, walked on the Great Wall of China, trekked in the Darien Gap"

Mine of information so he is. You should drop him a PM

Only yesterday I walked the local 'Old Railway Challenge' with my indefatigable little dug. Distance 5 miles; ascent 0 feet; time 1 hour 45 minutes.

Seriously, my walks are mostly one-dayers. On the fells I'm comfortable with about 3000 feet over roughly ten miles with plenty of time for stravaiging and diversions. For low level walks, about fifteen miles is ideal although I sometimes stretch that to twenty-odd. More details in my TRs.

Have a crack at the Meirionnydd Round, that should sort you out for a day or so .

For the best LDW in Britain (in my opinion) do the Cape Wrath Trail

How about doing the West Highland Way tomorrow? The record is a pretty challenging 15 hours, 44 minutes.

Going by the weather forecast for tomorrow, the record isn't under threat!
