Hello everybody.

Myself and some others have rented two chalets at Kinlochewe in May, from the 3rd to the 10th - nice place!

There are currently two spare places (i.e. one twin room) going at the very reasonable price of 62.50 pounds each - cheaper than a week in a hostel.

Kinlochewe is very well situated for walking and climbing in the famously beautiful areas of Torridon and Fisherfield - Kinlochewe

Anyone who is interested email me via the forum

Some bump for the weekend. Surely someone would like to come and have fun in a  beautiful part of Scotland with bargain accommodation...

Would love to, but I am on Skye the following week. And can't change my holidays.

About time I gave this another bump. I know it's not handy for the Cuillin, but ti is handy for all sorts of splendid mountains and coast and ting.

I have stayed in these chalets and they are in an absolutely fantastic, wonderful location. We had one with a view of Slioch from the bed! Excellent accomodation, in hillwalking paradise; highly recommended.

Glad to hear that ALS. We stayed in a B&B last time but wanted a bit more flexibility of self catering this time and the Lodges certainly looked great on their website.

Aye, you can say that again!

TBW - you will have a great time, and so will your legs. Me and my Mrs much prefer places like the lodges to B&Bs - like you say, you have much more flexibility with food and more privacy.  If you fancy treating yourself to some local seafood, the Kishorn Seafood Bar is worth hunting down. Beware the single track roads!

Oh Kate isn't it a shame that you have the most horrific laryngitis so can't speak or swallow properly and can't go into work that week

Oh, come on Kate.  I'm skiving off during the first exam week for this - not that following my lead in relation to dedication to your job is necessairly a good plan though.  But how can you resist!?

Anyway, I haven't got me knees sorted out yet..... Maybe next time.
18/03/2008 at 13:50

Excuses excuses Kate anyway your knees survived the Winter Skills weekend and you've got 7 weeks to work on it

You know you want to

Yes, of course I want to, but the bottom line is: I can't
