I'm orf to a very posh hotel (Gilpin Lodge) in the Lakes based near Crook, Windermere. If anyone's about for a fell walk or a chat I'll be there till Friday. I've printed off a few guided LDNP walks including Haystacks, Catstycam, Red Tarn and Latrigg.
I was going to take my new Vaude Terratrio tent and try it out but the sleep mat and silk liner for my new bag haven't arrived yet.
Someone recommended me pitch a tent overlooking Buttermere at sunset.
Sounds lovely. Looks like the weather should hold.
